Assignment 3

Social Media of choice: Facebook

    I will start off first by saying that I started this class with no social media whatsoever. However, I have recently installed Facebook and Instagram for business and marketing purposes and this has been perfect timing for this assignment. I chose Facebook which is the social media I use the most for my business because it has a new feature called the "Meta Business Suite" which allows me to post simultaneously on Facebook and Instagram, all in one place. This also allows me to see demographics like what platform reaches what people and how many followers I have on both and which has seen the most audience improvement. This works perfectly with my marketing plan especially because it is completely free.  

    The first couple of days it took me a bit to still get used to the software and that is when I spent the most time getting comfortable with the business suite I even scheduled out postings to allow for seamless posting every day at set times to improve my time management. I normally use this once in the morning to check all the statistics and see what I have set to post for the day. Once again in there afternoon after my scheduled post to check for views and comments. Last I check during the late afternoon to see what is set for posting tomorrow and to see what posts get the most views and likes to tailor the future posts to the preferred material.

Below is my timeline for other past four days using Facebook:

 Feb 18th - 

    7:00am - 30 min, check my scheduled post and notifications. Looked over the features of the business suite. 

    12:00pm - 10, checked over my post to see current views and likes

Feb 19th -

    8:30am - 10 min, checked my post schedule again, and past likes

Feb 20th -

    7:00am - 30 min, check my scheduled post and notifications. Looked into video posts and future ideas.

    2:00pm - 10 min, checked post likes

Feb 21st -

    12:00pm - 10 min, checked my post to view it and looked over previous posts.
